Hi Glen
Thanks for your comments and photos. I have added your photos to the product so that potential purchasers can see what you mean about the slight distortions in colour. This type of Rod is mainly used in engineering applications for buttons and coding on machinery so the slight distortions in colour are not as critical as in your application. This is custom batch of coloured Acetal that we have made up as it is difficult to find coloured rod that is easily machinable.

I handturned some plastic yoyos out of it on my lahte and I noticed that there are swirls or concentric circles of slightly grey rings through out it. This applies to both the red and blue 60mm diameter rods. I would have uploaded a picture if I could. Overall, I’m fairly happy with the product.
