TOP SEAL

2 options available:

Option A45 – 45 degree Holder – For mounting under the Lintel (or frame), with the bristle just touching the Garage Door when closed.  Can be mounted with the bristle angled upward or downward depending on the movement of your garage door. Suitable for your Roller Door, Sectional or Panel Door.

Option B25 – 25 degree Holder – (SUITABLE FOR GARAGE ROLLER DOORS ONLY) For mounting directly to the outside of the Garage Door.  Fit onto the outer corrugation so that the channel and Brush Strip sits neatly into an inner corrugation.  The Brush Strip rolls up neatly with the Roller Door.  Unfolds when the Roller Door closes and the bristle settles behind the Lintel to create the seal.

SIDE SEAL

For Ember Seal Side Seals we recommend you consider fixing the brush strip to the front of the garage door surround, on the outside of the opening.  The 45 degree Angle Aluminium Holder and 25mm bristle may help reduce the impact of a potential ember attack by acting as a barrier to entry into your garage.  The Roller Door Guides then might protect as a 2nd line of defence. Small particles may be repelled from the Strip Brush Seal fitted to the front of the Garage Door.

Side Seals are generally fixed to the frame of the garage door, and can be mounted to the outside of the Garage Door, or inside the Garage Door.  Generally the 45 degree Angle Aluminium Holder, and 25mm bristle may be sufficient as a secondary barrier to the Roller Door Guides. Small particles may be repelled from the Strip Brush Seal fitted to the front of the Garage Door.  Prefer to hide the Strip Brush Seal on the inside of the Garage? Small particles penetrating the Door Guides would be captured by the internal Strip Brush Seal.

Other helpful tips

• Seal to within 2mm to meet the BCA (Building Code of Australia) requirements
• The bristle should be just touching the door when the door is closed

• Mounted from the inside of your brickwork makes the brush seal look minimal
• Can be mounted using Steel Screws or Rivets and Masonry Nylon Anchors
• Anodized Aluminium Holders can be painted with an Etch Primer and Colorbond colours to match your Garage Door

GARAGE ROLLER DOOR – STRIP BRUSH TOP SEAL

Help protect your home from bush fire Ember Attack with our Fire Retardant Garage Door Brush Seals.  Our Hahl fibre has been independently tested in Australia and complies with Australian Standard 3959-2018 for all BAL – Bush Fire Attack Levels 12.5 up to BAL FZ.

Suitable also to prevent draughts, dust, leaves and insects.  Keep your garage work area warmer in winter and cooler in summer.

2 options available:

Option A45 – 45 degree Holder – For mounting under the lintel (or frame), with the bristle just touching the garage door when closed.  Can be mounted with the bristle angled upward or downward depending on the movement of your garage door.

Option B25 – 25 degree Holder – For mounting directly to the outside of the garage door.  Fit into the corrugation so that the Brush Strip rolls up neatly with the Roller Door.  Unfolds when the Roller Door closes and the bristle settles behind the Lintel to create the seal.
