The Tradesman XL Dustpan & Broom Set (Yellow) is a heavy-duty cleaning tool designed for efficient debris collection.

Comes in a timber hardwood backing and fitted with a 90 degree metal socket.  All you need to do is add your 25mm dia timber handle and you are ready for cleaning.

Directions for use:

Use a metal scraper or rake to push the hot coals away from the area to be cleaned. Then use the oven brush to remove the fine dust or grit.  Easy to do when the pizza oven is cold, best to use the other tools to preserve the backing of the brush.  It is important to check your brush head regularly and replace when the bristles are starting to wear.

Tube Brush Range Extension Rods

UA1 – Universal Adaptor (BRASS) – female 3/4 inch to female 1/2 inch BSW (British Standard Whitworth fitting)

Connects our Chimney Rods to be suitable for our heavy duty Boiler Tube Brushes.  One end is 3/4 inch, the other 1/2 inch BSW fitting. Great for plumbing applications. Can also be used with our Timber File Handle for shorter applications.

UA3 – STEEL Adaptor – male 1/2 inch BSW to female 5/16 inch 

One end is 1/2 inch BSW Male, the other is 5/16 inch Female.  Use this Adaptor to connect our Condensor Tube Brushes to our 900mm (3 foot) Twist Wire Rods.

UA4 – STEEL Adaptor – male 5/16 inch to female 3/16 inch

One end is 5/16 inch Male, the other is 3/16 inch Female.  Use this adaptor with our smaller Condensor Tube brushes to use with our 1500mm Fibreglass Rods (this Rod is no longer available). Great for getting into those hard to reach machinery parts.

UA5 – STEEL DRILL Adaptor – male 3/4 inch adaptor for use in a power drill

Use this to connect our Tube Brushes and UA1 Brass Adaptor to use in a drill. Or for Professional Chimney Rods. Always use with a Power Drill on slow speed.

Flue Cleaning Brush Kit – Galvanised Steel Wire

This is our Heavy Duty Flue Cleaning Brush Kit for our customers who just love GAL!!!!  The main advantage is that you don’t need your Flue to totally cool down to be able to clean, the Galvanised Wire Brush can handle the heat!  Consider this Kit carefully as we usually recommend the Polypropylene Flue Brush Kit before this one.  Reason being is, if you have a Flue that is Stainless Steel, using a Galvanised Wire Flue Brush may leave tiny scratches inside the Flue.  This may lead to a greater build up of creosote over time.  But this Kit works well for your old Boiler or Pot Belly stove where the Flue is made from Steel.

Kit includes:

• 1 X  Galvanised Steel Wire Brush Head with 1/2″ Whitworth fitting.
• Twisted Galvanised Steel Wire Rods made from 9-gauge (3.5mm dia) wire fitted with 1/2 inch BSW Male and Female ends.  Our rods are strong but flexible, in lengths of 3 foot (91.44 cm).  Simply choose the number of Rods you need for the length of Flue you need to clean and screw the Rods together, end to end to make up the length.
• 1 x Timber Handle with 1/2 inch BSW Female fitting.  Screw this to the end of your Rods to complete the Kit

Busy Bee have put together a Chimney Brush Kit that will suit most Chimneys and some of the larger Flues. Maintain your woodfire like a professional.

Our Chimney Brush will cover a square Chimney of 10 inch x 10 inch internal size, with strong Professional Chimney Rods that screw together to cover a standard single storey height of 12 foot (3.65m).  NEW – we have added in additional options for your split level or double storey home.

TIP – if you measure the diagonal of your chimney, that will be the diameter Chimney brush that you need – the round brush will get into the corners of your chimney and give you a good clean.

You can use this Kit from the top down or the bottom up.
